Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior I&C Engineer to independently manage projects and lead a team of engineers and designers as a Discipline Lead for larger, complex assignments. The role involves evaluating and engineering I&C systems, performing calculations, and conducting field work across diverse facilities.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with owner, contractors, and vendors, and develop project scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining high-quality documentation and adherence to

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering is required; MS preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in instrumentation and controls.
• PE license in Controls Systems or Electrical Engineering in AZ or reciprocity/within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, high‑complexity projects as Discipline Lead for I&C.
• Evaluate, specify, and engineer all I&C systems for projects.
• Develop designs through sketches, models, diagrams, and visuals.
• Prepare and revise site plans, diagrams, schematics, and details.
