Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior I&C Engineer to lead large, complex projects and manage multiple initiatives.

You will evaluate, specify, and engineer all I&C systems, with team leadership for engineers and designers and collaboration with owners and contractors. The role requires at least 15 years in instrumentation and controls, a PE license in the US, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering; MS preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of instrumentation and controls experience.
• PE license in Controls Systems or Electrical Engineering in AZ or reciprocity possible; 18 months to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, high-complexity projects and oversee multiple assignments.
• Evaluate, specify, and engineer all I&C systems for projects.
• Develop designs through sketches, models, diagrams, and drawings.
• Prepare and revise site plans, diagrams, schematics, and details.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, owners, and vendors.
• Mentor junior staff and work with distributed project teams.
• Travel as needed and participate in commissioning activities.
