Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer in Texas to lead design of water and wastewater projects. You will develop control narratives, SCADA designs, wiring diagrams, P&IDs and installation details, while producing cost estimates and project specs.

The role requires a Texas Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one, plus 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater control systems and strong communication skills. AutoCAD experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
Minimum of 10 years designing control systems for water/wastewater or industrial facilities.
Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain Texas license.
Knowledge of ISA, NFPA 70/70E/820.

Responsibilities

Produce contract documents, plans and specifications.
Develop control narratives, instrumentation and control plans, SCADA design.
Develop wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, I/O lists and panel layouts.
Prepare cost estimates, project specs, and scopes of work.
Perform site visits, assist commissioning, and provide engineering oversight.
Oversee project management, client interface, and mentoring of EITs and interns.
