Job summary

STV Incorporated in Texas is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer to lead design and engineering for water and wastewater projects. The role requires a Texas PE or the ability to obtain one, and preference for candidates residing in Texas who can work from any TX location.

You will produce contract documents, develop control narratives and SCADA designs, review P&IDs, and mentor EITs and draftsmen, while engaging in client interfaces and business development for future

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 10 years experience designing control systems for water and wastewater or industrial facilities.
• Texas Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one.
• ISA, NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 820 knowledge.
• Experience with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Produce contract documents including plans and specifications.
• Develop control narratives, instrumentation and control plans, SCADA design.
• Develop wiring diagrams, PLC design, loop diagrams, and I/O lists.
• Mentor EITs, interns and draftsmen; assist with commissioning services.
• Stamp and seal as I&C engineer of record for projects.
