Job summary

Kiewit Power Engineering in Phoenix seeks a Senior Electrical/Controls Engineer to lead instrumentation and controls design for power facilities. You will develop designs, interface with suppliers, and ensure project delivery on time and within budget.

Requires 10+ years in I&C engineering, proficiency with SCADA/PLC, and ABET-accredited degree; PE preferred. Office locations include Phoenix with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
• At least 10 years’ experience in instrumentation and controls engineering and design; power generation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support engineering on SCADA/I&C design projects for power facilities.
• Develop design calculations, project drawings, and specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross-discipline teams to meet project goals.
