Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Electrical/Controls Design Engineer to lead I&C design efforts for power projects across North America. You will act as a lead or support engineer on SCADA replacement/upgrades, develop design specs, and mentor junior staff.

Based in multiple offices including Lone Tree, CO, the role emphasizes cost estimation, collaboration with vendors and construction partners, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in electrical or controls engineering required.
• PE registration preferred; 10+ years in instrumentation and controls.
• Experience with SCADA/PLC; DCS desirable; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support design engineering on SCADA/I&C projects for power facilities.
• Develop design calculations, drawings, and specifications per codes and Kiewit guidelines.
• Coordinate with partners, mentors, and support staff to ensure on-time delivery.
