Job summary

Kiewit Power Engineering Group is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our growing team in the Power district. You will provide I&C discipline expertise and lead an engineering team on proposals, design execution, and commissioning support.

The role supports projects across North America with opportunities to collaborate with internal engineers and external partners. Office locations include Woodcliff Lake, NJ, among others, and the position is Full Time.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
Experience leading instrumentation and controls activities on power projects.
Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and coordinate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques for projects of varying complexity.
Lead design efforts, review supplier drawings, and coordinate with construction partners.
Develop technical specifications and assist with cost estimates and proposals.
Mentor entry- and mid-level engineers and ensure adherence to project schedules.
