NuScale Power, LLC is hiring an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to design safety-related and non-safety I&C systems. You will supervise subcontractors and ensure NRC-aligned engineering practices across the project lifecycle.

The role requires a BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering and at least 5 years in electrical or I&C design, with experience in digital safety protection systems for nuclear plants. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in electrical or I&C design, analysis, or engineering.
• Experience in digital safety protection systems and testing/installation procedures for nuclear plants.
• Experience with process measurement components for nuclear power applications.
• Eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810.

Responsabilités

• Prepare/review I&C system design work products such as one-line diagrams, logic diagrams, and system design documents.
• Apply rigorous systems engineering to software and hardware development activities.
• Plan and coordinate detailed engineering work and schedules.
• Translate functional requirements into component/system design with interfaces considerations.
• Develop design alternatives, orchestrate complex assignments in teams.
• Apply experience in design, testing, and installation of process control and automation systems.
• Provide oversight to key I&C suppliers and coordinate interfaces with other disciplines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
