Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking a Program Engineer specializing in Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) to support resource planning, project scheduling, and technical oversight within the Refueling & Remote Handling group. You will design I&C systems, coordinate across disciplines, and interface with regulators to ensure compliance with NRC criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited college; PE license a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial nuclear power design or systems engineering.
• Experience with resource planning, project coordination, and technical planning.
• Ability to map NRC regulations to system design parameters; knowledge of relevant IEEE/industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resource estimates, execution plans, schedules, and staffing forecasts.
• Plan and oversee engineering activities, interfaces, and project deliverables.
• Translate requirements into I&C system designs and verify regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers.
• Interface with regulators and external stakeholders and prepare reports.
• Support development of technical statements of work and procurement inputs.
