Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking a Program Engineer with I&C expertise to support the Refueling & Remote Handling group. You will coordinate engineering activities, balance resources, and ensure regulatory-compliant I&C system design.

The role combines program management with advanced electronics engineering to deliver safe, reliable nuclear systems. Ideal candidates bring at least 5 years in nuclear power design or systems engineering, strong planning skills, and experience with Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 5+ years of nuclear power design or systems engineering experience.
• Experience with resource planning, project coordination, and technical planning.
• Design and installation experience of refueling & remote handling I&C systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare resource estimates, execution plans, work scopes, schedules and staffing forecasts.
• Assess department capabilities against demand and identify capacity constraints.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee engineering activities and interfaces across teams.
• Lead I&C design work products and ensure regulatory compliance with NRC criteria.
• Interface with clients, directors and stakeholders and report progress and risks.
