Job summary
Spero Solutions is seeking a Senior I&C Engineer with nuclear experience to design and implement instrumentation and control systems for complex nuclear facilities. You will develop and integrate control strategies, instrumentation packages, PLC/DCS systems, and safety-related monitoring in highly regulated environments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program.
- PE license is not required but highly desired.
- 15-20+ years in I&C engineering design for industrial or nuclear plants.
Responsibilities
- Prepare scoping documents and conceptual design reviews.
- Prepare I&C deliverables: P&IDs, layouts, control narratives, IO lists.
- Design instrument installation, HMIs, PLC ladder logic, security.
- Develop and review procurement specifications.
- Support vendor bid evaluations and Q&A tracking.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams; interface with clients.
- Lead integrated engineering processes to meet milestones.
- Conduct constructability reviews and early design development.
- Ensure QA compliance and timely project delivery.
- Willing to travel <20% for design reviews and site coordination.
