Job summary

Framatome in Mansfield, MA, is seeking a Senior I&C Engineer to design, develop, and deploy instrumentation and control solutions for nuclear power plant applications. You will lead site work, start-up, and commissioning, applying DCS/PLC/SCADA platforms while ensuring compliance with government and industry standards.

This role requires a bachelor's in engineering and at least three years of related experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; physics or related fields may be accepted.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of engineering standards/criteria.
• Strong communication to convey technical data.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
• Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required.
• Implement I&C system architecture solutions for nuclear power plant applications.
• Lead plant site work, start-up, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Performs non-standard engineering tasks across design, development, analysis, testing, and field tasks.
• Receives minimal assistance and works autonomously on most assignments.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and standards.
