Job summary

Framatome is seeking a System Designer for Instrumentation & Control Safety Systems to lead the definition, integration, and lifecycle architecture of safety‑related control systems for nuclear modernization projects.

You will translate regulatory requirements into specifications, lead cross-disciplinary design, and provide technical leadership through design, verification, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey technical data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex engineering tasks in design, development, analysis, testing, and field support.
• Lead cross-disciplinary integration across hardware, software, networks, cybersecurity, and HMI.
• Translate regulatory requirements into system specifications and design constraints.
• Provide technical leadership during design, verification/validation, and commissioning activities.
