Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. seeks an Instrumentation & I&C System Design Engineer to join our Resilience Water team in Ohio or Detroit. Lead I&C, automation, and SCADA design for environmental remediation, industrial and municipal water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities include design documents, P&IDs, SCADA network diagrams, and mentoring junior staff. Requires 5+ years of I&C experience and an EIT/PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or a closely related field of study.
• 5+ years of I&C, automation, and SCADA design and implementation experience in water/wastewater market.
• EIT/Professional Engineer license.

Responsibilities

• Produce design and construction documents for projects, coordinating with process, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
• Develop SCADA system architecture, P&IDs, network diagrams, process control narratives, and control schematics.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Project Manager duties: budgeting, planning, cost estimating, design and execution of SCADA and I&C systems.
• Support electrical design to back I&C systems; perform factory testing, site acceptance testing, and startup.
