Job summary

Arcadis is looking for an Instrumentation & Controls Intern to join our Resilience team in Columbus, OH for Summer 2027. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on instrumentation, controls systems, and network infrastructure for municipal water and wastewater facilities.

You will help design SCADA architectures, P&IDs, and related documentation, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and assist during construction with submittals and RFIs. Some field work and travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical memorandums and develop design criteria.
• Craft SCADA system architectures, diagrams, and narratives.
• Create specifications, schematics, and panel layouts.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
• Perform engineering services during construction, review submittals and RFIs.
