Job summary

Sargent Lundy in Midland, TX is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to contribute to the design of new power plants and modifications to existing facilities. You will assist in developing control systems, P&IDs, I/O lists, and procurement specifications, while engaging in design reviews and hazard analyses.

Travel to client and vendor sites may be required for reviews and construction coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design of C&I systems for power plants and oil & gas facilities.
• Development of P&IDs, I/O lists, control panel designs, and cables schedules.
• Preparation of specifications for procurement of I&C equipment and installation services.
• Participation in Process Hazard Analysis and Design Reviews.
