Stratolaunch, located in Mojave, CA, seeks a Senior or Staff-level Mechanical/Structural Engineer to lead Talon-A payload integration. You will define interfaces, perform mechanical and avionics packaging design, and oversee structural/thermal analyses for hypersonic vehicles.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years (Sr) or 8+ years (Staff) of engineering experience, proficiency in 3D CAD and PDM, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5–10 years of experience for Senior or 8+ years for Staff
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling and PDM systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Responsabilités

• Define interface and integration requirements across teams and subsystems
• Design and analyze mechanical and avionics packaging of customer payloads
• Perform structural and thermal analysis of components/assemblies
• Create and manage 3D CAD sub-models and master models for Talon-A payloads
• Order hardware as required to fabricate designs
• Deconflict hardware interface issues between teams and support fabrication and integration
