Stratolaunch in Mojave, CA seeks an Avionics or Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer to design, build, integrate, and test experimental payloads on Talon-A hypersonic vehicles. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop data acquisition and telemetry systems, analyze flight data, and ensure customer deliverables are met.

The role demands strong communication and readiness to travel. This position may require security clearance and offers a competitive base salary with a 9/80

Formación

• Experience in instrumentation, telemetry, or network engineering in an operational or regulated test environment.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and dataloggers
• Experience with government procurement processes
• Experience writing system requirements or eliciting requirements from a customer
• Experience designing test equipment for bench and in-vehicle testing of electronics
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to acquire and maintain a DOW security clearance

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate payload requirements for integration onto a hypersonic test bed.
• Define and implement capture and recording of payload data across subsystems.
• Develop and test instrumentation and telemetry requirements for customer payloads.
• Support instrumentation and telemetry tests and improvements to workflows.
• Assist Talon-A Payload Integration Lead and ensure on-time contract deliverables.
• Analyze flight data and generate customer reports.
• Travel as needed to support the program.
