Qualifications

• In-depth experience in aerospace structures, mechanical design, and kinematics.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, manufacturing methods, and FEA.
• Proven technical leadership and ability to solve high-impact problems.
• Experience proposing and leading IRAD projects.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain DOW clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-level technical discipline leadership in reviews and mentorship.
• Review mechanical design at all stages and ensure quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across the team.
• Develop and implement engineering standards and common tool chains.
• Lead teams through high-impact problem solving and RCAs.
• Develop capability roadmaps and realize new competencies.
• Lead internal R&D to generate IP and future business value.
• Support white papers, proposals, and business efforts.
• Assist recruiting and hiring activities.
