Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking a Senior Director, Program Management to lead Mojave- and California-based programs spanning design, manufacturing, and flight test of hypersonic test vehicles. You will drive delivery, customer satisfaction, and disciplined execution across a high-performance PMO.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive experience in technical and/or program management
• 10+ years in senior leadership roles within aerospace, defense, or high-technology sectors
• Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary programs with annual budgets >$100M
• Executive leadership in technical organizations including subcontractors and production
• Advanced expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance, and secure operations
• Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate strategic vision for program management in California
• Lead cross-program conflict resolution and ensure disciplined execution
• Design an organization ready to deliver for customers
• Represent Stratolaunch in executive forums and with customers/government
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of program managers
• Own PMO budget and drive program risk management and mitigation
• Establish best-in-class PM methodologies, processes, and tools
• Oversee supplier relationships and contracts
• Provide regular portfolio status updates to leadership and board
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed
