Job summary
Prime Data Centers is seeking a Hyperscale Solutions Engineer to act as the technical authority for large, built-to-suit data center programs, with a primary focus on hyperscale accounts in California. You will lead technical responses to RFPs/RFIs and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Construction, Operations to craft rigorous, commercially compelling proposals.
The role requires hands-on CFD interpretation, thermal modeling translation, and experience with data center design and electrical
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science‑related discipline; Military service considered.
- 5+ years in data center solution design or related engineering field.
- Minimum 2 years direct experience with Hyperscale customers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior technical lead for Hyperscale engagements and customer requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional response teams for RFP/RFI submissions.
- Present architecture, delivery approach, and capabilities to clients.
- Explain CFD outputs and thermal/airflow modeling to stakeholders.
- Coordinate design reviews and alignment sessions with clients and internal teams.
- Support on-site power architecture discussions and resiliency planning.
