Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking a Hyperscale Solutions Engineer to act as a senior technical authority for hyperscale data center projects. You will lead design, evaluation, and proposal development for build-to-suit solutions, engaging closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with hyperscale customer engagements, CFD interpretation, and powerful communication of technical concepts to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science-related discipline; Military service considered.
• 5+ years of experience in data center solution design or similar engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of direct hands-on hyperscale customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical lead for Hyperscale engagements aligned to customer requirements.
• Lead cross-functional response teams for RFP/RFI technical evaluations.
• Present architecture, delivery method, and capabilities to clients.
• Interpret CFD outputs and translate results into actionable narratives.
• Conduct Bluebeam markup sessions to review designs and drive alignment.
• Explain on-site power and resiliency design to clients.
