The Foth Companies is seeking a Lead Hydrogeologist to join our team in Detroit, MI. You will lead the technical execution of hydrogeological projects and mentor others while coordinating with project managers on budgets and schedules.

We value hands-on field experience, strong leadership, and the ability to integrate hydrogeologic investigations with numerical analyses to support permitting and site remediation efforts across environments described in unconsolidated deposits and bedrock.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hydrogeological investigations experience, including at least 5 years in the field.
• Coordinating and executing field characterization programs (aquifer testing, profiling, groundwater modeling).
• Provide project leadership on complex multi-disciplinary projects, managing budgets, schedules, regulatory and contractual commitments.

Responsabilités

• Lead the technical execution of hydrogeological aspects of projects.
• Work with project managers to estimate project costs and consult on technical approach.
• Develop technical approaches for regional hydrologic characterization of groundwater systems.
• Provide project and technical leadership on complex, multi-disciplined projects, including budget/schedule/contractual commitments.
• Develop and implement technical approaches for numerical analysis of groundwater and surface water systems.
• Teach, mentor and develop other members in hydrogeology.
