Job summary

The Foth Companies seeks a Lead Hydrogeologist to lead hydrogeological projects across multiple Midwest offices, including Green Bay, Minneapolis, Duluth, and Madison, with a hybrid work option.

You will guide technical approaches, coordinate field programs, mentor staff, and deliver budgets, schedules, and regulatory commitments for complex, multi-disciplinary projects in groundwater and site remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 10+ years’ hydrogeology experience with at least 5 years of field work.
• Experience coordinating field characterization programs and groundwater modeling.
• Proven project leadership on complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of hydrogeological aspects of projects.
• Work with project managers to estimate costs and advise on approach.
• Develop approaches for regional hydrologic characterization of groundwater systems.
• Provide leadership on multi-disciplinary projects, managing budgets and schedules.
• Develop approaches for numerical analysis of groundwater and surface water systems.
• Teach, mentor, and develop other team members.
