Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to lead Florida's hydrogeology practice, supporting water supply, ASR, DIW, UIC projects across the state while collaborating with our Florida Water team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive Florida regulatory experience, client relationships, and the ability to mentor staff and pursue strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of hydrogeology or water resources experience.
• Florida PG or PE registration or ability to obtain within six months.
• Experience with water supply wells, monitoring wells, DIW, UIC, or ASR.
• Florida regulatory/permitting experience.
• Project management and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and mentoring of junior staff, support client proposal negotiations, writing technical proposals, and support permitting and report preparation.
• Design, permit, and lead construction oversight of water supply, deep injection, and ASR wells.
• Provide QA/QC review and technical oversight of field and design work by other hydrogeologists within the company.
• Working as a Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver hydrogeology-related projects on schedule and within budget.
• Leading and/or supporting business / client development activities to secure new hydrogeology and water resource projects for clients throughout Florida, including assisting teams in the preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations.
• Develop scopes of work and budgets for hydrogeology projects as well as preparing subconsultant agreements.
