Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a Senior Hydrogeologist to grow and lead our Florida hydrogeology practice across major water projects.

The role partners with our Water teams in Tampa, Sarasota, Fort Lauderdale, Miami-Dade, and West Palm Beach, focusing on regulatory experience, client relationships, and staff mentorship. The candidate will oversee hydrogeology and water resource projects, contribute to proposals, and advance strategic pursuits while maintaining high technical

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hydrogeology or water resources experience.
• Florida PG or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with water supply wells, monitoring wells, DIW, UIC, or ASR.
• Florida regulatory/permitting experience.
• Project management and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor junior staff, support client proposals, and assist with permitting and report preparation.
• Design, permit, and lead construction oversight of water supply, deep injection, and ASR wells.
• Provide QA/QC review and technical oversight of field and design work.
• Work as a Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver hydrogeology projects on schedule and within budget.
• Lead or support business development to secure new hydrogeology and water resource projects in Florida, including winning proposals.
• Develop scopes of work and budgets for hydrogeology projects and subconsultant agreements.
