THOR Solutions, LLC in San Diego, CA, seeks an Engineering Technician VI (Hydraulics) with U.S. Navy shipboard experience to provide full-time support for Naval auxiliary equipment at SWRMC.

You will troubleshoot equipment, perform maintenance assessments, and train Ship's Force to improve fleet readiness, while interfacing with Navy personnel aboard ships and at regional facilities. This role requires an active SECRET clearance and is contingent on a contract award anticipated in February 2027.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; extensive hands-on experience with naval auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics and troubleshoot hydraulics systems.
• Experience providing engineering/technical support and on-site training.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time onsite support and surge support for Code 254 equipment.
• Lead assessment and fleet-technical-assistance teams; perform evaluations and repairs.
• Conduct pre-job briefings; report equipment readiness; observe on-board operation.
• Provide Onboard Maintenance Training to Ship's Force and support TSRA/INSURV events.
• Review inspection data, recommend corrective actions, and document findings.
