The EHR Stability Analyst role supports the Virginia Department of Health’s Electronic Health Record system. You will work with Local Health District end users, document enhancements, and partner with technical and vendor teams to ensure alignment with clinical needs.

You will help define strategies for long‑term system improvements and contribute to interim solution development while participating in agile activities and testing cycles.

Formación

• Experience providing application support, preferably in healthcare environments.
• Strong skills in requirements documentation and enhancement analysis.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Understanding of clinical, pharmaceutical, and patient billing workflows.
• Experience participating in structured testing cycles.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Visio.

Responsabilidades

• Provide responsive support to EHR users across Local Health Districts.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Monitor and maintain key EHR workflows, processes, and procedures.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand operational needs, evaluate current EHR capabilities, identify gaps, and recommend effective alternative solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and other Agile documentation as needed.
• Support functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional technical, clinical, and business teams.
• Produce clear user documentation, job aids, and training materials.
