Job summary

Hobart Service is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 3 to install, service and repair commercial food equipment on customer sites in Louisiana. The role requires mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and HVACR aptitude with strong troubleshooting.

You will perform on-site support, interpret schematics, follow safety procedures, and maintain knowledge of regulations. The position may include on-call, after-hours, and weekend work to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED plus 4-7 years of food equipment service experience and/or 2-4 years HVACR service experience.
Associates degree or vocational certification preferred.
Certifications such as EPA and/or CFESA/NATE/Hobart are desirable.
Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking/refrigeration equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Installs and leads advanced installs of commercial food equipment.
Diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and refrigeration equipment.
Interprets schematics and follows operation sequences.
Performs preventative maintenance and documents it.
Adheres to safety procedures and SOPs and supports product introductions.
