Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to service our single-family rental homes in the Dallas area. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems while providing excellent resident experiences and maintaining cost controls.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of general maintenance experience, EPA and HVAC certifications, and the ability to work on residential equipment with a strong safety mindset. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification from a technical college or trade program preferred.
• EPA certification required for this role.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance.
• Experience repairing residential appliances is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential homes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and service requests, including replacements as needed.
• Diagnose advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations and company policies.
• Complete service requests professionally and in a timely manner.
