Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC technician to install and repair equipment at customer locations, forecasting issues, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work with the team to meet specifications. You will be the direct customer contact, ensuring satisfaction and safety on every project.

The role is highly physical and requires a high school diploma, 5+ years HVAC experience, EPA certification, proficiency with Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months with a clean record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair equipment and systems at customer locations.
• Use software and hand-tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain safety standards and flexibility for overtime and overnight stays.
• Record use and condition of assets and ensure accountability.
