Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an HVAC Technician 3 to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC equipment in data center environments and mission-critical facilities. This role requires handling complex systems, documenting operating logs, and ensuring reliability under deadlines and heavy workloads.

The candidate should have 6+ years of HVAC experience, hold a Journeyman license (Master license preferred), and meet security eligibility for sensitive information. Local travel and physical tasks are expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial HVAC experience with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with complex HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, VAVs, and control systems.
• Clearance and licensing requirements including U.S. Citizenship for access to classified information; ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on HVAC equipment including chillers, VAVs, and related controls.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and adjust mechanical equipment; perform preventive maintenance per energy guidelines.
• Record faults and report, respond to emergencies to protect occupants and property.
• Operate and maintain HVAC and BAS systems in data centers or mission-critical environments.
