Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Mechanical Critical Facility Technician to maintain and repair complex HVAC and mechanical systems in mission-critical environments such as data centers and hospitals.

You will work with chillers, boilers, CRAC/CRAH units, and air handlers, using CMMS and BMS platforms to ensure optimal performance. The role requires extensive experience (10+ years) in critical facilities, plus certifications like EPA 608 and the NITC Journey-Level HVAC exam.

Qualifications

• Requires a strong background in HVAC and other mechanical equipment in mission-critical environments.
• 10+ years' work experience including 3+ years in a data center or hospital environment.
• Must pass the NITC Journey Level HVAC exam within the first year of employment.
• EPA 608 certification is preferred or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Clearance: ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and operate complex mechanical systems in data centers, hospitals, and manufacturing plants.
• Install, maintain, and repair chillers, boilers, CRAC/CRAH units, and air handling units.
• Read and interpret mechanical, plumbing, and electrical diagrams for maintenance tasks.
• Utilize CMMS to track work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor environmental systems via BMS platforms and coordinate with controls teams.
