Job summary

Harp Home Services in Windsor, CT and HD Air in Springfield, MA are seeking a dynamic HVAC Technical Trainer to join our team. The trainer will design and conduct training programs to improve technical performance across locations.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years HVAC Training and Development experience, 7 years HVAC Service experience, and EPA Type II or Universal Certification, with excellent communication and organizational skills and a valid driver's license for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HVAC Training & Development experience.
• Minimum 7 years HVAC Service experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification.
• Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license for travel between training locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs focused on HVAC/R systems, equipment repair, and property maintenance.
• Create instructional materials that include schematics and technical documentation to enhance learning experiences.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions that allow participants to practice skills in real-world scenarios.
• Assess trainees' understanding of technical concepts through evaluations and feedback.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology to ensure training content is current.
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and feedback for continuous improvement.
