Job summary

Harp Home Services in Windsor, CT and HD Air in Springfield, MA seek an experienced HVAC Technical Trainer to design and deliver training programs for HVAC/R systems and property maintenance. The role requires 7+ years HVAC service experience, 5+ years in training, EPA Type II or Universal Certification, and travel between training locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HVAC Training & Development experience
• Minimum 7 years HVAC Service experience
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification required
• Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC equipment

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs focused on HVAC/R systems and property maintenance
• Create instructional materials with schematics and technical documentation
• Conduct hands-on training sessions in real-world scenarios
• Assess trainees’ understanding through evaluations and feedback
• Stay updated on HVAC industry trends to keep content current
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and tailor programs
• Maintain records of training sessions, progress, and feedback for improvement
