Job summary

Harp Home Services in Windsor, CT, and HD Air in Springfield, MA, seeks an experienced HVAC Technical Trainer to strengthen our team. The role focuses on designing and delivering training programs to improve technician performance and customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least seven years in HVAC service and five years in training, EPA Type II or Universal certification, and strong communication and organizational skills. Travel between locations is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years HVAC service experience.
• Minimum 5 years Training & Development experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification required.
• Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs focused on HVAC/R systems and equipment repair.
• Create instructional materials with schematics and technical documentation.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions and real-world practice.
• Assess trainees' understanding through evaluations and feedback.
• Stay updated on HVAC industry trends to keep content current.
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and tailor programs.
• Maintain records of training sessions, progress, and feedback.
