K Komfort Heating & Cooling in Green Bay, WI seeks a Senior HVAC Technical Advisor to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential systems while mentoring teammates. You will explain issues to homeowners, recommend repairs, and ensure high customer satisfaction through clear, professional communication.

The role emphasizes safety, on-call availability, and staying up-to-date with code changes and industry best practices in a dynamic field.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential HVAC repair and installation.
• EPA 608 Type II certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED; HVAC trade school preferred; college degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train other team members with technical questions and common HVAC issues.
• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems per specs.
• Perform routine maintenance to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Use testing equipment to verify proper operation after work is completed.
• Document service findings, work performed, and parts used in the service software.
• Explain issues and options to customers clearly and professionally.
• Educate customers on operation and potential improvements (high efficiency, IAQ, smart thermostats).
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and stocked service vehicles.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service.
• Follow safety procedures and applicable codes; comply with OSHA requirements.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current with technology and company processes.
