Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, seeks a Service Sales Engineer to accelerate revenue growth and expand its market footprint in an assigned territory. This field-based role blends proactive business development with strategic relationship management, targeting high-value contracts and long-term service agreements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive sales experience.
• 2+ years of experience with HVAC, Building Automation, Commercial HVAC, Blueprint Drawings/Design layouts, or the Construction industry.
• Ability to travel to local customer sites as needed.
• High School Diploma/GED or completion of an accredited trade/technical school program.

Responsibilities

• Proactively cultivate and maintain strong, high-level relationships with prospective and key accounts to understand their business drivers and influence purchasing decisions.
• Identify new sales prospects and project leads within designated market segments to support overall company growth strategies.
• Spot qualified bid opportunities, lead response preparations, and participate in contract negotiations with target customers.
• Develop new client contact leads, qualify prospective projects, and partner with the internal Business Development team to advance pipeline opportunities.
• Represent the organization at industry trade shows, conduct product presentations, and organize client-facing workshops to showcase offerings and boost brand awareness.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of organizational systems, programs, and field processes to enhance daily operations and improve sales performance metrics.
