Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Sales Application Engineer to provide technical expertise and support for complex Applied HVAC projects across the Midwest. You will translate customer needs into optimized equipment configurations, prepare quotes, and collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations to win bids.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years in HVAC application engineering or pre‑sales, and MBA or Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering. MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in HVAC application engineering, applied equipment selection, or pre‑sales technical support.
• Travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and optimize Applied HVAC equipment selection and configurations for complex projects.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, quotes, and proposals.
• Provide technical application support to sales team members and assist in winning opportunities.
