Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician in Carson City, NV to maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC systems across the store facilities. You will use commercial HVAC skills and tools to complete jobs and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires EPA certification, 10 years of HVAC refrigeration experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines.
