Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC systems with advanced commercial skills. Candidates will handle work orders, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires extensive experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license; physical ability to lift, climb, and work at heights is expected.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
