Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of refrigeration equipment across Walmart facilities. You will work with commercial HVAC tools, inspect and test systems, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety compliance.

The role requires 2 years of HVAC maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant certification, and a valid state driver’s license. A strong preference is given to those with rack refrigeration expertise and related

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC/R certification and 2 years in related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• HVAC-R/Mechanical journeyman certification where required.
• English reading/speaking as required by federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment.
• Use work order system to receive and document repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training and follow Walmart policies.
