The role requires extensive EPA refrigerant handling certification, a valid driver's license, and years of HVAC/refrigeration experience in a grocery/rack setting.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record; pass MVR.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3–6 years HVAC/refrigeration in grocery racks.
• Walmart experience or 2 years in related retail environment may apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment using various tools.
• Use work order system to receive, document, and close repair orders.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance; diagnose issues via inspection.
• Follow OSHA/EPA regulations and Walmart safety guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds; climb ladders; work at heights frequently.
