Job summary

Walmart is seeking aSenior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support repair within Walmart facilities and oversee HVAC equipment. The role uses commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools and digital devices to complete tasks at a fast-paced retail location.

The position requires a minimum of 10 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
Utilize the work order system to receive and document repair work orders for stores and associates.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect and diagnose facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines and Walmart safety policy.
