Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our local retail store’s facilities team. You will repair and maintain Walmart Refrigeration HVAC equipment, manage repair work orders, and respond to emergencies with safety compliance per Walmart policies.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, and power tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
