Job summary

Qualifications

HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration experience or equivalent required.
EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
HVAC Journeyman certification where required.
1 year plumbing/electrical or Walmart store experience preferred.
Valid state driver’s license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems, including ductwork, control panels, and refrigeration units.
Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues to ensure optimal system performance.
Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
Manage refrigerant handling and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and HVAC/R codes.
Coordinate and mentor field teams, providing hands-on training and evaluating skill development.
Track parts inventory, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely service delivery.
Participate in on-call rotation to support critical business needs outside regular hours.
