Job summary

JLL in Wayne, PA is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to oversee daily operation of HVAC systems, utilities, and site infrastructure. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment with a strong emphasis on multi-craft skills and safety.

The role requires on-call availability and flexibility for off-hours work. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial building systems, EPA 608 refrigeration certification, and proficiency with Siemens or Allen-Bradley BAS.

Qualifications

5+ years working with commercial building systems, specifically including components with refrigeration.
Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley BAS systems.
Universal EPA 608 certification (Refrigeration).
Must have adequate skills to perform required job functions with minimal supervision.
Fluent in English. Conflict resolution skills. Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
Subject to 24-hour availability.

Responsibilities

Oversees the daily operation of the site HVAC/HVAC-R, utilities, and site systems.
Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs facility equipment on HVAC systems.
Responds to alarms and monitors heat exchangers, chillers, VAV, pumps, and electrical systems.
Installs and repairs plumbing, piping, wiring, and motors under direction.
Performs routine facility repairs and uses PPE.
Must be capable of on-site work including elevated work and on-call shifts.
