Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Technician, Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration, to lead installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of HVAC/R systems across 11 stores from Albany to Eugene. Qualifications

• Experience with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems, including refrigeration units and building pneumatics.
• Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues to ensure optimum system performance.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Manage refrigerant handling, inventory control, and vendor relationships in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and mentor field teams, providing hands-on training and evaluating technician performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical business needs outside regular hours.
• Maintain company vehicles and ensure adherence to safety and operational policies.
