Job summary

Jobot is seeking a permanent Senior HVAC/R Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC/R and refrigeration systems. The role emphasizes Building Automation Systems knowledge and ensuring energy efficiency while meeting safety regulations.

You will mentor junior staff, perform diagnostics, and collaborate with engineering on new system designs, with on-call availability as needed.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair, with emphasis on commercial/industrial refrigeration.
Experience with Building Automation Systems installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
Ability to mentor junior staff and promote learning.
Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex HVAC/R issues.
Solid knowledge of safety and environmental regulations for HVAC/R systems.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC/R systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC/R equipment issues and propose solutions.
Install and configure Building Automation Systems to optimize energy efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations for HVAC/R systems.
Collaborate with engineering to design and implement new HVAC/R systems and modifications.
Provide technical guidance to junior staff and foster continuous learning.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
