Qualifications

• 8+ years in HVAC/R maintenance for commercial/industrial refrigeration.
• Strong experience with Building Automation Systems: installation, configuration, troubleshooting.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior staff; commitment to learning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC/R issues.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations for HVAC/R systems and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team player.
• Availability to work on-call and respond to emergencies.
• Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC/R systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC/R equipment; recommend solutions.
• Install and configure Building Automation Systems to optimize energy efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations for HVAC/R systems.
• Collaborate with engineering to design and implement new HVAC/R systems.
• Mentor junior staff and promote continuous learning.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Stay current with HVAC/R technologies and industry trends.
